Regulated Women's Clothing Sizes

Women are constantly bombarded with images of perfection. Media tells us that we are too heavy, overweight. The fashion industry furthers that idea by their sizing. In reality, many women would be perfectly comfortable in their bodies if they could just find a correct size. A size 10 in one brand may fit wonderfully, while a size 16 in another wears exactly the same. What is a woman supposed to think when in the span of two hangers she ranges six whole sizes? This is why it is necessary that American Clothing sizing be regulated, as with Mens clothing. Women should be able to walk into a store and purchase a pair of pants, skirts, and jeans all in one size hers.
