Reject ID Cards

Dear Prime Minister

We, the free born men and women of the United Kingdom, strongly object to the imposition of compulsory ID cards. The United Kingdom's foundation was built on the freedom and liberty of it's people. ID cards are an infringement of civil liberties that were bought by our ancestors, sometimes dearly. If the ID card system is introduced it will be diminish us as free citizens of this, our country. We do not accept that ID cards will make our lives either safer or easier, or that the ID cards is being introduced for those purposes.

Therefore, if you, the Government, try to impose an ID card we will stand firm and not comply. In a spirit of non-violent, non-co-operation will will resist the imposition of ID cards, whatever the consequences.

We will do this so that our children, grandchildren and their children will be able to live as free, independent citizens in a free and independent country.


When freedom is in jeopardy, non-co-operation may be a duty and prison may be a palace.

At times, non-co-operation becomes as much as duty as co-operation

It is the duty of a non-co-operator to preach disaffection towards the existing order of things. Non-co-operators are but giving disciplined expression to a nations outraged feelings.
