Dear Mr. Josh Homme, Dave Grohl, and John Paul Jones;
Honestly, I had hope for your album "Them Crooked Vultures". Hope that you guys would hold enough sway to squeeze a great sounding album out in this industry of flat, over-compressed music. Unfortunately, another awesome rock album with obviously great rock musicians and tunes has been completely ruined by big business and money grubbing label execs.
Mr. Homme, Grohl, and Jones how can you listen to the final product? Nothing stands out at you, everything is flat. You can't turn it up or else it fatigues the ears. Somewhere in there exists some amazing rock jamming and awesome dynamics. Why would you want to release a compromised product?
Go listen to Robin Trower's album from the 70s, "Bridge of Sighs" or Josh's own band Kyuss' album "Blues For The Red Sun"; these albums jump out at you, excite you, and that ISN'T *just* because of the great players and songs.
We the undersigned are your devoted fans and we LOVE your playing, but we want a great sounding version with great dynamic range and production quality.

I haven't even heard the album yet, but I'm tired of great albums by great artists like these being ruined this way so I totally support this petition.
