Removal Of Cover Up On Brunswick Carnival Ride

This petition has been created to REMOVE the "cover up" placed on a carnival ride at the Brunswick Heads Carnival. The cover up was prompted by a small minority of complaints suggesting that the original image was offensive toward women and gives a negative view as to how women are perceived. This recent cover up has created an unnecessary concern for our children now thinking that they have to cover their bodies and be ashamed as if they are seen wearing swim wear or under wear they are portraying themselves as "sex objects to men". Our children see themselves, their mothers, aunts etc in swim wear and under wear daily... But now this has been deemed innaproriate?! If you feel that this image is in no way offensive and you would like to see the image returned to its original state please sign and we will forward to the Authorities to hopefully initiate the removal of the cover up.
