Removal Of Ed DeChellis

8 years ago, Penn State hired Ed DeChellis as the Head coach of the Mens basketball program. To DeChellis credit he was forced to work with minimal resources and was able to put together a family friendly and foundationally sound program. Even so, DeChellis inability to produce any form of a consistent winning basketball has far outweighed the positive efforts he has put forth in the community and within the University. Because of this, the fans, alum, and students of Penn State basketball and Penn State University are asking one thing. Release Ed DeChellis from his contract at Penn State. DeChellis is constantly out coached and out recruited by his colleagues and maintains his position despite failing to fulfill the athletic departments mission to put for winning consistent programs on the collegiate level. The Penn State community is interested in supporting a winning basketball program, DeChellis does not allow us to do that, and a single NIT run every 8 years, and half full arenas should not be the measuring stick of success.

For the Glory.
