The lack of fruit named palindromes is simply appalling. To fight back at this obviously communist, anit-palindromic way of thinking, I suggest we start simple. The banana, as good a fruit as it is, could be made even better by simply removing the letter b from its name, thus making it a perfect palindrome. The economic subjugation of the banana because of its possible palindromic nature is simply inexcusable. To deny these bananas the right to dance to chanting of sandwich condiments is truely a crime against edible plants everywhere.
