Repeal the Sustainability Fund Initiative at WMU

We, the undersigned students of Western Michigan University, support a repeal of the Sustainability Fund Initiative that levies a fee of $8 per fall and spring semesters and $4 per summer semester to fund "student-designed and led sustainability initiatives, an Office of Sustainability, and a WMU Green Jobs Program." We believe that compulsory payment into this fund infringes on the civil and individual liberties of students who will not benefit from the fund.
