I believe that the current New Zealand National Anthem, "God Of Nations", poorly describes the modern Kiwi person, as well as the great nation that New Zealand has become.
As such I wish to petition the Government to replace the National Anthem with a song whose lyrics truly represent the fabric of current New Zealand society.
With an air of sincerity, whilst touching on relationships, the environment, manufacturing (what symbolizes NZ better than gold top socks!), as well as the arts, "Business Time" by New Zealand's fourth most popular digi-folk paradists Flight Of The Conchords, is a masterpiece showing off all that is great about New Zealand and being a New Zealander.
Please sign this petition so that we may force the Government to hold a referendum on changing the National Anthem at the upcoming election!
