Republican and Independent Voters Who Will Support Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2008 if ....

In that recognizing United States Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York will more than likely seek and obtain the Democratic Party nomination for President of the United States in 2008, we the undersigned , presumably "blue-collar" and moderate Republicans or independents as noted below, can commit our support to Senator Clinton in the 2008 general election ONLY if Senator Clinton agrees to the following LIMITS to her agenda;
1) Senator Clinton will NOT seek to further limit the individual law-abiding citizens' constitutional right to keep and bear arms - whether it be exercised for hunting, sport, personal protection or homeland defense.
2) WILL NOT seek a constitutional amendment to define marriage.

Furthermore ... and will SUPPORT;

1) Total military disengagement from the Persian Gulf area and a reduction in tensions with the people of the area (after we see to it that Iraq is set on the solid road to peace, freedom and prosperity).
2) The reduction of the national debt AND the subsidy of any comprehensive national health plan partially through a national sales tax so that we ALL have a stake in it.
