Speaking in an interview with BBC's Late Kick Off, On 29th January, you once again reiterated that if supporters want to to resign then you would.
In the interview you said:
"A proportion of the fans want me gone & if that's what the fans want me to do then I'm quite happy with that. But, we need somebody in the club who's gonna care for it, look after it and make sure it's there for our future, our kids and grandkids."
And, in response to the question:
"Surely though you're not saying you're going to go?"
You replied:
"Yes I am. If it's for the best for the club. It's about Port Vale, nothing else and if it's best for the club that I or other directors go that's fair enough but we've got to make sure that it's best and that the continuity of the club continues. The last eight years we've actually kept the club from going bankrupt and every year we've gone forward, on and off the pitch."
Since V2001 have been in power we have dropped down a league and the debt is now triple that of when you took control, largely on borrowed money from the Manchester consortium.
As both Chair and CEO you are responsible for this abject failure.
With this in mind we request that you take responsibility for this failure and resign forthwith.
