REQUEST FOR STOP AT AMALANAGAR

There is a defunct station at Amalanagar on the Guruvayur Thrissur line under Thiruvanthapuram zone . .When the station was started there was halt here but the station became defunct due to lack of passengers . Today the area around amalanagar has developed a lot and there are a number of institutions including a medical college with a cancer hospital , a nursing college , two engineering colleges and sanskrit college in the area .There are more thant 2000 students and employess in these institutions many of whom are from the southern districts of Kerala and have to depend upon buses and private transprt to reach their residences It would be highy aprreciated and also profitable if the station at Amalanagar is revived and the Guruvayur Thrissur line is extended to Ernakulam Yours truly , v, t krishnadas menon
