Request to Reevaluate Censorship Procedure

We, the undersigned, collectively request that The Neopets Team (hereafter referred to as "TNT") reevaluate its censorship policies, particularly for the guild message boards. Although many of the site users are adults, we understand that Neopets is primarily a website for children. Therefore, we do not object to filtering and censorship in order to keep the site a fun and safe place for everyone to play. However, far too many members of the guilds are frustrated by the pointless algorithms used in the automated filters. Proper punctuation is impossible, and we wholly disapprove of encouraging - demanding, even - improper writing habits. Quite often, a post is rejected in its entirety only to be accepted sentence by sentence with nothing else changed. This makes it very hard for guild administrators to accurately know how much each member contributes to the message area. Furthermore, when this happens, users are not sure exactly what they aren't supposed to say or write.

Confusion and frustration are never conducive to a good time, so we would like to respectfully request that if TNT cannot change the policies in place, said policies and filter criteria be plainly posted in a very public area. We are particularly interested in knowing why punctuation is discouraged.
