This petition is aimed at drawing your kind attention to the dismal state of Indian football. Once the most popular game in India , The Beautiful Game is in tatters in the country.
The state of football in our country is absolutely dismal considering Indias historical relevance to the game. A country of a billion people languishing at the 165th place in the FIFA rankings suggests some serious lapses. Surely we have enough talent which proves that our scouting process is faulty. Our National Football League is not really proving to be a crowd puller. Our grounds and infrastructure are limited.
We, the undersigned, strongly urge FIFA to directly monitor the progress of the game in India, as that is the only way to awaken The Sleeping Giant.
