Reverse the Ban on Midsummer Common Mooring

We are opposed to the Conservators of the River Cam's decision to ban mooring along Midsummer Common for six months of the year.
With insufficient alternative mooring available in Cambridge, we feel that removing residential boaters from the Common during winter months for the sake of novice University rowing crews is ill-advised and unjustified. We feel that further consultation is required to fully investigate the navigational needs of all river users.
We support the Camboaters in their campaign to reverse the ban.
