Rights of Muslims of Ireland to Islamic Education for our children and Provision of Mosques

Compared to other countries in EU, Ireland has one of the lowest numbers of mosques available to the muslim minority.Mosques not only serve as place of worship but also as educational facility for children to learn the holy book “Quran” and as a communal space for marriages and deaths. We as a muslim minority in Ireland feel alienated and dispersed by not having enough mosques and Islamic Schools. Building mosques  will help in proportional distribution of muslims within the cities while living in clusters around the the mosques in every neighborhood  instead of centralizing only in Dublin 8 which has the largest numbers of muslims in Ireland (at 1 place) due to presence of Dublin mosque resulting in one of highest rents in Dublin making it unaffordable for low income muslims to find an accommodation in Dublin 8 and reside near the mosque.

1- Every educational institution to add 1 extra subject for muslim students of  "Islamic Studies & Quran (the holy book)" taught by an Islamic scholar.

2- Additon of Arabic in the language options to read and learn Quran

3- Atleast 1 Muslim Educational Complex to be formed in every post code of Dublin and one in all major cities comprising of an Primary and Secondary School, Quran Academy, Mosque, Halal shop, restaurant and admin offices.

6- A prayer hall to be provided in every neighborhood so that every muslim can have easy access to the prayer facility within walking distance of his house (5 times a day).

For the whole Muslim minority with a population of more than 50,000 Muslims in Dublin, there is only one Muslim School in the whole city which is also not easily accessible to all Muslim families living in Suburbs of the city as 4 buses are not enough to cover the whole city. Muslims are also required to pray 5 times a day in the mosque so the mosques are required at convenient locations throughout the city for easy access to all Muslims same way the churches are present at convenient and easy accessible locations. The Mosques are also required to create an atmosphere of Islamic education and learning which is a must requirement for every Muslaim child so there is big requirment of increased number of mosques and addition of Islamic Studies and Quran subject in all educational institutions to fulfill the requirements of the Muslim Minority which is the right of every Irish citizen.
