We, the undersigned residents of Windsor, Ontario want to see our municipality work to create a transportation system that is sustainable, human scaled and available to everyone. The implementation of the Riverside Drive Vista Improvement Project is an integral next step in reaching these goals.
We want out elected municipal council representatives in all five wards to accept and endorse the city administrations recommendations and PASS the Riverside Vista Improvement Project, ensuring that our Civic Way will grow into a pedestrian friendly multi-modal route with bicycle lanes running continuously from the Ambassador Bridge to the Ganatchio Trail.
This emhasis on alternative modes of transportation will help all Windsorites breathe a little better in the future.

I bike around Windsor a lot, and find myself regretfully avoiding the beauty of Riverside because the automobile traffic there is not very bike-friendly. I appreciate what's been done so far for cyclists, and would love to see more!

Riverside Drive is a jewel for ALL who live in the surrounding area and for people who visit the area as well. Making the road more bicycle friendly will only make it more appealing by being more accessible, more beautiful to the eye and ultimately safer
