Rock music television, a change in music

Wouldn't you like to turn on the TV and see some rock music? Nowadays, that is nearly impossible. TV is flooded with rap, hip-hop and "punk" with MTV, VH1 and BET. Rock music has been a big part of the american culture from ACDC to Nirvana. Let's face it, MTV is no longer "Music Television" with reality TV shows, the music is fading away.

This is a petition for a new music channel, "Rock Music Television". CMT or Country Music Television has been a success so why not try it with the rock genre? Music on BET mainly focuses on Rap and Hip-Hop, CMT focuses only on Country music and MTV's focuses are on Rap, Hip-Hop, and punk.

It is time for a change in the world of music and this is the place to start. MTV knows that rock is becoming in demand and it would be a great business opportunity for them to get even more fans, popularity and more money by creating an all new music channel, a rock music channel presented by MTV.
