Rogers to offer NBA League Pass

Rogers Cable currently offers league passes for subscribers to purchase and receive programming that includes the majority of local broadcasts for National Hockey League, Major League Baseball and the National Football League games. As fans of the National Basketball Association, we the undersigned would ask that Rogers adds the National Basketball Association League Pass to its programming lineup for 2004-2004 NBA season.

We who sign this petition state that we live in the Rogers Cable network footprint and will order the NBA league pass should it become available for a similar price to the aforementioned league passes that Rogers currently offers. Those of us that do not currently have Rogers Cable will order that service as well in order to receive the league pass.

Rogers largest market is also home to an NBA franchise with one of the highest attendance records in the league, and basketball is a sport with a large and growing following in the city of Toronto and across Canada. With a pending NHL lockout this interest can only grow. We petitioners look forward to doing further business with Rogers Cable in purchasing the NBA league pass for the upcoming basketball season.
