Ron Paul and Mike Gravel Please Join Together

Dear Congressman Ron Paul and Former Senator Mike Gravel:

We, the Undersigned, ask that you join forces and run for President and Vice-President together, on an independent ticket.

Your true dedication to liberty, justice, and peace, and to the rule of law and the Constitution, make your leadership desperately needed in times of looming fascism, economic collapse, and endless war.

Orwellian forces have already conquered our mass media and both the Democrat and Republican parties. They will not let either of you have their nominations, and we all know it. Even if they would, we can only vote in one primary, for one of you or the other. So we are already divided. We need a singular ticket.

We need you both to run together. We need you to run together on an independent ticket, outside the realm of partisan hackery.

In recent years, public consciousness has evolved greatly toward a better understanding of the vicious forces seeking to control and diminish our lives. The American people are longing for real change, and we know what we are looking for. Your sudden success following the debates is testament to that. We need a viable ticket to rally behind. Such a ticket cannot derive from either element of the two-party duopoly. We all know it.

Your support base lies with the Peace Movement and the Truth Movement.

Your candicacy is invigorating. Now we need a strategy to win.

2008 can be the year that moneyed interests lose their control over the political system. But we need a viable strategy.

A loss in the primaries will only take the wind out of our sails. You have the power to pre-empt them by declaring independent candidacy before that time comes.

Please agree, that by the end of 2007, you will resolve (or at least put aside) your political differences, choose amongst yourselves who should be President and who should be the running mate, and announce that you will be running on an independent ticket from then on.

Please do this as soon as possible. Or tell us why you won't.
