Donegal Celtic is a small football team from West Belfast in the north of Ireland. The club was formed in 1970 and only recently managed to achieve entry into the Irish League proper. Since entering in 2002 the club has been promoted from the 2nd Division and are now tipped to achieve one of the top two places and become the youngest football team in the Irish League Premier Division.
Up until 16th January the major worry for the supporters was whether or not the club will be able to develop the pitch to meet Premier League Standards but now a larger threat looms and one that threatens the clubs very existence. The club received a bid of 12.5 million for the land on which its situated from one of Irelands largest development companies. As of yet there are no plans to rehouse the club and no guarantees that if the club does achieve promotion to the Premier Division that the team will still exist
What we are asking is that if this bid must be accepted that members seriously consider the future of the football team. Please use a portion of the money received to relocate the club so we can continue the rapid growth and development seen in recent years. This club is only taking its first real steps in football, please dont let the hard work of everyone involved in getting the club this far go to waste. We need your help, help save Donegal Celtic.

Good luck, been wanting to play for a club all my life, didn't have the time for one, would be screw-all for a club to disappear and leave everybody without that chance.
