We, the undersigned, are students, professors, faculty, staff, parents, friends, and concerned citizens of the University System of Georgia.
We are wholeheartedly against any budget cuts to public higher education in the state of Georgia.
We are against further teacher furloughs, involuntary pay cuts, and layoffs.
We are against any tuition increases.
And, most of all, we are concerned deeply for the future of the Georgia public education system.
We, the undersigned, want to begin a frank, open, honest, and transparent conversation with both Democratic and Republican leadership in the State of Georgia, and come up with a solution that will benefit, not hurt, Georgia.
