I've been to that beach for 4th of July several times. And not only the dogs use it to do their business. So they wouldn't just be hurting the dogs if they took that place away from us. I watched a very drunk man sit and dig a hole, pull his trunks up

as a former resident of southern CA i think that the beach should remain open to pets as long as the pets are properly look after. it is a wonderful place for animals to excerise and for owners too!
