We, the undersigned, believe that Worcestershire County Council’s plan to convert the custom built gallery/performance space on the top floor of Kidderminster Library into council offices will be detrimental to the arts and wider community of Kidderminster and Wyre Forest.
We therefore reject the plan and call upon Worcestershire County Council to:
1. Retain Kidderminster Gallery as it is.
2. Find alternative office provision.
3. Develop and promote the full potential of Kidderminster Gallery and set up a meaningful consultation structure with the public to enable this to happen.
