Description
The MacBride Community Nursing Unit has sat in the centre of Westport town for 37 years providing the highest standard of age related healthcare to long stay residents. It also provides Respite care and Day Care facilities to the people of Westport and surrounding areas.
In recent months 9 beds have been closed!!
We cannot allow this to be the beginning of the end!!
Mission
Our mission is to STOP this unit being closed, to unite as a community and make our feelings known to the HSE, LOCAL POLITICIANS, TOWN COUNCILERS etc
WE NEED TO SPEAK OUT AND BE ADVOCATES FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES.
