Mariah Carey's album is coming out in less than 2 months.



And yet, Def Jam hasn't released: any official album name, any definitive album release date, any official single name, nor a release date.



There is no information available for us.



If we wanted to be ignored as fans, we'd be fans of Whitney Houston or Michael Jackson.



The reason we love Mimi so much is because she has always had a very open communication with her fans. Therefore Def Jam should understand that all this secrecy is extremly frustrating and is doing nothing else but damage Mariah's potential success.



At the pace they are going, the single won't be shipped to radios for another month, and we'd be lucky to see a video before the album release.



Moreover the December 4th date is an absolute mistake. Why in hell would they let Mimi miss the Thannksgiving shopping week-end? The biggest weekend at retails in the nation.



I think that Def Jam is setting up Mariah to fail; just so they can be in a more powerful position to renegotiate her contract which is coming to term this year.



As Mimi fans, we can not let those people sabotage her career the way Tommy Mottola did!
