We support the Hendersonville Planning Board in its opposition to changing the maximum building height limitation without a comprehensive and inclusive study. Our existing zoning ordinances have preserved the architectural dominance of our Historic Courthouse and the aesthetics of our downtown district without diminishing the economic viability of Downtown. We urge City Council to reject any hurried effort to change the height ordinance at this time.
