WE LOVE OUR HOSPITAL
Whereas over 4.000 citizens rallied at Queens Park in support of Health Services
Whereas Hospitals in Fort Erie and Port Colborne are in immediate threat of closure
Whereas many rural Hospitals are under threat of losing Health Care Services
Whereas LHIN Boards are unelected and unaccountable
Whereas the Hamilton Niagara LHIN Board is under investigation by the office of the Ombudsman
Whereas the communities of Southern Niagara have requested an investigation of Niagara Health Services by the Auditor General of Ont.
Whereas Health Minister Caplan has announced an Advisory Panel to review Health Services for Rural and Northern Hospitals
BE IT RESOLVED
That the Health Minister instruct all LHIN Boards and Health Services Boards to immediately cease and desist all Health Care program closures and reductions until the Advisory Panel tables a report .
