Rezoning isn’t just about numbers. It’s about children, families, and community.

If rezoning happens, here’s what’s at risk for our kids:

• Students with IEPs lose trusted teachers and support teams

• Routines are disrupted, leading to anxiety, regression, and lost progress

• Services like speech therapy and counseling may be delayed or reduced

■ Proven Academic Setbacks

• Research shows students lose 3–6 months of progress with each school move

• Stable teacher and peer relationships improve grades, attendance, and behavior

■ Community Impact

• Families who have invested years volunteering, fundraising, and mentoring will be uprooted

• Heritage is already overcrowded—adding more students while pushing out established families

makes no sense

• Our children will lose friendships, mentors, and the culture that makes Heritage feel like family
