A quote from "Birdman", a google sketchup 3D warehouse user: "Something horrible happened in the late spring and summer of 2007. Its hard to say exactly what it was, but whatever this mysterious culprit, it blasted almost all of the 3D Warehouse's talent into oblivion. In March of 2007, the Warehouse was frequented by such incredible talent as Heavy Metal, D3v3nt3D, RLGun, ZARDDOZ, Marian, BTM, The entire cast of SketchUpsBest, Lionhead, and many, many, many more. Now fast forward to October 2007, and skills like those from the days of the Un-Featured Modelers Awards is scarce at best. Apart from the tattered remains of SketchUpsBest (sorry guys, but compared to our former glory, we're but a mere shadow), Dilopho DD, and a gifted modeler here and there, the warehouse is mainly ruled by noobs who think a 2D square is a masterpiece and a bunch of kids running rampant, screaming thier heads off about thier pointless "SketchUp Armies" (Seriously, the warehouse is for models, not half-assed attempts at immature RPGs). What I'm saying is that somehow, most of the great talent of the warehouse has pretty much disappeared, leaving a few real modelers stranded in a sea of noobs and 5th Graders. And that is truly sad..." Google still neglects to assist us in this matter. 3D warehouse users are dropping out by the dozen and immature children are running rampant poisoning the last remaining dignaty of the 3D warehouse. Please, sign this petition that will be Emailed to google in attempt to make one final stand to save what so many 3D modelers call home.......
