We (the undersigned) are asking you (Ford Motor Company) to base the next Ford Bronco on the Ford Ranger pickup truck or Ford F-Series pickup truck platform. During its three decade production run, the Bronco became known for its ability to tackle any off road obstacle and for its Ford truck toughness. The Bronco has developed a loyal following. To give this loyal following a car (yes, the Escape is a car) for a Bronco will only make them head for used truck lots or gas stations to pick up the latest Truck Trader. The soccer moms and dads already have four Ford SUVs and a "crossover" to choose from. Give the rest of us a worthy trail rig and continue the reputation the Bronco name has built up!
