"It seems a bit problematic, that the foreign language department loses its secretary, because the secretary is one of the most important members of any department. He or she (in this case) is responsible for a lot of things that occur in an office."

"The President in his 5th annual address spoke about the need to teach "skills useful for self-reinvention such as critical thinking and communication." Cutting support for foreign languages seems to question the sincerity of that statement."
