We, the disgruntled Triple J listeners of Australia demand action to avoid Australia's JJJ network becoming just another annoying commercial-style radio station.
In the early 90's the J's were a bastion of new independent and alternative Australian and International music, apparently represented the whole of Australia and featured intelligent and clever DJ's and presenters.
Over the past few years, this has all changed. Where is the support for Australian independent bands across the board (not just a handful of favourites)? Where are the insightful presenters (currently there are self-indulgent (ie. breakfast show) and even some just plain annoying and stupid presenters)? Why does Triple J feel like a Sydney radio station that the rest of Australia is allowed to listen to?
It's time for Triple J management to listen to the listeners and stop disappearing up its own arse.

I agree. I have basically stopped listening to the J's for these and other reasons. It seems every time I turn it on they're playing some electronic crap or 'novelty' Rock song.

Totally agree. Once an obsessed fan - now I can't stand to listen and really miss innovative and different music. Presenters (apart from maybe Rosie and Myf ) drive me bonkers with their self indulgent , verbal diarrhoea. Huge overall and priorities neede
