To Whom It May Concern:
We do not agree with the administration of the School of Nursing (SON). Many have been wronged before through bad guidance, loss of records, general misinformation, and last semesters complete lack of communication and knowledge concerning the class schedules. Most recently, the changes to the grading scale have put even more pressure on students. Instead of taking the opportunity to help nursing students and ease some of the burden, the School of Nursing administration has increased the demand put on students. This change was made without consulting the students or even notifying them more than a few weeks before classes began. These and other changes have vastly increased the frustration and challenge facing nursing students without any benefits from the increasingly haphazard and questionable actions of the administration. Although most of the damage has already been done, we encourage the School of Nursing to rescind its new grading policy as a show of good faith and to promote cooperation between nursing students and the administration.
