Members of the ECRW (East Coast Roundwall) Foundation along with the
Community of Prince William County, VA and beyond would like to see
Expansion/Renovation of the Scott D. Eagles Skatepark located at
Veterans Park in Woodbridge, VA. The skatepark was at one time a
"destination" skatepark with folks from all over the East Coast
(including Professional Skateboarder Bucky Lasek) stopping there to
ride this park on a regular basis. Since the open of the Vans
Skatepark located at Potomac Mills, the community along with visitors
from other communities became accustomed to riding a more modernized
"World Class Skatepark" here in Prince William County. Now it is
closed & the community has nothing to offer in comparison. Lots of
Baseball, Soccer, & Football Fields, but nothing to offer those who
want to ride skateboards (the most popular activity amongst our youth
today). By signing this petition, you will show your support for the
cause.
