Si chiede il boicottaggio di un sistema dell'arte merceologico che reifica e massifica concetti propri della Cultura, come ARTE e ARTISTA.
Siamo di fronte ad una costante riduzione della ricerca estetica alla trovata massmediologica veicolata dal critico di grido, dalle speculazioni borsistiche dei grandi collezionisti e dai mercanti darte.
Si chiede il boicottaggio di un sistema dell'arte che costruisce
artisti in serie, che premia il binomio artista imprenditore (caimano e squalo di se stesso) , che promuove mode il cui unico fine и la lievitazione delle quotazioni del critico e dellartista di turno.
Si richiede il boicottaggio di azioni in stile spedizione punitiva,come quella che vede il Direttore G.Politi, intraprendere un'azione legale contro l'artista (bello di fame e di sventura) ventiduenne Lo Coco Luca; azione di per sи seconda norma, ma volta a tacere la non isolata e sempre piщ apprezzata sua critica artistica , nei confronti della rivista Flash art. Lapparente somiglianza fra il vecchio sito web di Flash Art e i siti internet del giovane artista, www.ashartonline.com e www.ashartonline.it , hanno permesso al Direttore Politi di intraprendere una durissima azione legale. Lui, Direttore della "prima rivista d'arte in Europa", stende un velo nero su un sito Net Art che si proclamava avverso alle idee trite e ritrite ma soprattutto tritaArte, palesemente espresse dalla sua rivista .
Lui, Direttore di una rivista d'arte contemporanea, chiede al Tribunale di Palermo la condanna del giovane ad un risarcimento di 200.000 euro; somma che permetterebbe al Lo Coco, qualora tale rivista fosse quotata in borsa, di assumere il ruolo di azionista di maggioranza della stessa!
Lazione legale-punitiva prevede anche la revoca dei nomi a dominio www.ashartonline.it e www.ashartonline.com (si visiti www.subverto.com per vedere i file con le richieste del Direttore al Tribunale di Palermo); in altri termini, si richiede il rogo di un progetto artistico.
L'esosa cifra sopra riportata, richiesta ad un ventiduenne con idee troppo fastidiose, reca
con sи una chiara e cinica intimidazione non troppo difficile da carpire. Il colpo basso и pienamente giunto a segno grazie allausilio del mondo dellarte italiana; infatti, nonostante la gravitа del fatto, la stampa specializzata e i siti web darte tacciono sull'argomento per non "fare pubblicitа ad una rivista avversaria" (frase detta dal direttore di una nota testata d'arte italiana), o per "non incorrere nell'ira di un uomo molto infilato nel sistema dell'arte" (frase detta dal vicedirettore di un'altra arcinota rivista d'arte italiana).
Intrallazzi e giochi di potere sommergono la libera informazione, sotterrano le poche anime disposte sia a ribadire il proprio disappunto per un siffatto sistema dell'arte, sia ad aprire un dibattito sul senso del fare arte oggi e sulle troppe subrette del chimerico sistema artistico.
Boicottiamo artopoli e chi la rappresenta: mandanti arcigni ed esecutori.

We propose a boycott of the art-as-merchandise system which makes its own concepts of Culture, such as ART and ARTIST, a commodity and a mass product.
We are facing a constant reduction in aesthetic research. We now see mere mass media commodities, which are a response to famous critics and great collectors and art mercenaries stock market speculations.
We propose the boycott of a system of art that builds artists on a production line, that rewards the binominal entrepreneurial artist (Berlusconi and shark to himself), and that promotes fashions in which the only goal is the rise of the critic and artist whose turn it is.
We are asking you to clearly choose your side against action such as sending hit-men as punishment, like that where the director G. Politi undertakes legal action against the (wretched and hungry) twenty-two-year-old artist Luca Lo Coco; an action that in itself follows the norm, but the aim of which is to silence its ever more appreciated and ever more popular critic of the magazine, Flash Art. The apparent graphic similarity between the old Flash Art web site and the sites of the young artist, www.ashartonline.com and www.ashartonline.it, has allowed the Director, Politi, to carry out strong legal action. He, Director of the first art magazine in Europe, is blacking out a Net Art site that proclaimed itself against hashed and re-hashed ideas but above all against hashArt, so manifestly expressed in his magazine.
He, Director of a contemporary art magazine, is asking the Court of Palermo to condemn the young man to paying damages of 200,000; an amount that would allow Lo Coco, no matter how much the magazine was quoted for on the stock market, to become its chief share holder!
The punishing legal action also foresees the retraction of the domain names www.ashartonline.it and www.ashartonline.com (visit www.subverto.com to see the files requested by the Court of Palermo); in other words, he is asking to burn an artistic project at the stake.
The enormous figure quoted above, asked of a twenty-two-year-old with too troublinging ideas, brings with it a clear and cynical intimidation which is not too difficult to understand. The low blow hit right home thanks to the help of the Italian art world; in fact despite the severity of the issue, the specialised press and the art web sites have kept their mouths shut on the matter in order not to advertise a competitors magazine (quoted by the director of a reputed Italian art publication), or not to incur the wrath of a man who has a certain position in the art system (quoted by the vice-president of another notorious rival Italian art magazine).
Wheeling and dealing and power games drown free information, bury the few souls willing both to confirm their own disappointment in such an art system, and debate the sense of creating art today and the over-numerous showgirls of the chimeric art system.
Let us boycott the Artgate scandal and those who represent it: grim leaders and executors. We are asking therefore for the boycott of an art system in the style of calciogate and the vallettopoli scandal. We are asking for the implementation of a cultural system that promotes Art, Culture, Knowledge and Intelligence.
