Setanta Sports on Videotron

Le soccer (football) prend de plus en plus de place au Québec alors pouvoir suivre les plus grandes ligues européennes à la télévision est un privilège que seule la chaine "Setanta Sports" peut nous offrir.

Bell TV, Star Choice, Cogeco et Rogers ont tous compris que la demande était importante et ont rapidement offerts à leurs abonnés la possibilité de s'abonner à cette chaine.

Malheureusement, pour les clients de Vidétron, il faut encore prendre son mal en patience, puisque Videotron est le seul diffuseur à ne pas proposer cette chaine à ses abonnés.

Pour ceux qui ne savent pas ce que vous offre Setanta Sports, en voici un petit résumé :

- Barclays Premier League : Setanta Sports diffusera plus de 300 matchs live en exclusivité dans les 2 prochaines saisons.
- World Cup Qualifers : Setanta Sports diffusera plusieurs matchs de qualification d'équipes européennes pour la coupe du monde 2010.
- UEFA Champions League : Setanta Sports diffusera approximativement 134 matchs de la ligue des champions incluant 58 matchs en direct.
- UEFA Europa League : Setanta Sports diffusera autant de matchs que possible avec l'accent sur les diffusions en direct.
- Le Championnat : Setanta Sports diffusera environ 2 matchs LIVE par semaine de la ligue 1 de France.
- FA Cup
- International Friendlies
- Coca-Cola Championship
- Carling Cup
- MuTV
- Chelsea TV
- Russian League
- Clydesdale Premier League


À la place de cela, Videotron ne nous offre que Gol TV, chaine qui est plus axée sur les ligues d'Espagne, de Colombie, d'Uruguay, d'Equateur, et d'Allemagne.

Il est temps que la situation change!!!

En signant cette pétition, vous réclamez à Videotron la possibilité d'offrir, à tous ses abonnés qui le désire, la chaine Setanta Sports.

Soccer takes a lot of place in Québec and having the possibility to follow the biggest european leagues on TV is a privilege that only the "Setanta Sports" channel can offer us.

Bell TV, Star Choice, Cogeco and Rogers all understood the demand is high, and they quickly offered to all their customers the possibility to subscribe to this channel.

Unfortunatelly, for Videotron customers, we still have to suffer of the wait, because Videotron is the only broadcaster to not propose Setanta Sports.

For people who don't know what Setanta Sports offer, here's a little summary :

- Barclays Premier League : Setanta Sports will telecast more than 300 LIVE & exclusive matches in the next two seasons.
- World Cup Qualifers : Setanta will feature many LIVE & Exclusive World Cup Qualifier matches involving European teams.
- UEFA Champions League : Setanta Sports will show approximately 134 UEFA Champions League matches, Including 58 LIVE.
- UEFA Europa League : Setanta Sports will show as many UEFA Europa League matches as possible, with an emphasis on LIVE matches.
- Le Championnat : Setanta Sports will show approximately two LIVE or nearly live French league games per week.
- FA Cup : The 2009/2010 FA Cup will be LIVE on the channel.
- International Friendlies : Setanta Sports will show many friendlies, Mostly from European Counries.
- MUTV

Instead of that, Videotron only offer Gol TV channel, more focussed on leagues from Spain, Colombia, Uruguay, Ecuador, Germany.
