Dear punk fans of the world,
We the undersigned, agree that Sid Vicious (real name John Simon Ritchie) was innocent of murdering his rock groupie girlfriend Nancy Spungen. We ignore what the 1986 film of Sid & Nancy,(which was mostly incorrect anyway) starring Gary Oldman told us. It has recently come to light that it was not Sid who murdered Nancy but Sid's minder, 'Rockets' Redglare, who was dealing the couple heroin. Yes, Sid is dead and gone, but his memory still lives on and we will accept poor Sid's innocence. We insist Sid was innocent!!!
