Brahma Kumaris Malaysia ( BKM ) is a charitable organisation which has been serving the Malaysian community for the past 27 years. Currently it offers free meditation courses ( and other related courses) to the public from 60 Centres scatterred throughout Malaysia.
Additionally, BKM has contributed many articles ( for free ) to various media organisations ( New Straits Times , The Star, Tamil Nesan, Malaysia Nanban, Astro , Minnal FM, Traxx FM ) to enhance an individual's capacity to tap into his/her inner being via meditation and reflective thinking for the purpose of leading better lives.
Basis For Petition:

BKM has for the past 6 years run a program called Sinthanai Thulligal, for free, as a public service, on Minnal FM ( formerly known as RTM6) with the blessings of the then Information Minister.The program offers listeners a chance to engage in reflective thinking and to transform themselves for the better.
The current Minnal FM Management has however decided that because there is insufficient documentation of Sinthanai Thulligal's approval for airing, the program will have to be cancelled come May 31st 2008 irrespective of the fact that the program has run successfully for the past 6 years ( with good cooperation from the previous management) and that numerous individuals have benefitted from the program. Even more ironically, the management has even asked BKM to pay for the air-time even though its a free program with all production costs absorbed by BKM.

We would like Minnal FM to continue the Sinthanai Thulligal program for free as its one of the few programs on Minnal FM that benefit the Indians in Malaysia.
