Sky TV will not show IPL on Sky in 2011 because they are choosing to save money. Sky have refused to pay money which other networks in Australia to get the IPL on Sky. Channel 10 in Australia have paid $10 million AU to obtain the rights for 5 years. Sky are concerned not about its customers, but its profits.
Richard Last (Director of Sport) at Sky refuses to spend money on Cricket. He has an agenda against Cricket and needs to be removed as a Director. He does not care about the fans, and is more concerned about ripping Subscribers off by showing an event one year to lure his subscribers in and then taking away the event. Last year Sky showed the IPL 2011 in HD and once the subscribers numbers grew, Richard ditched the IPL and wanted the subscribers to keep paying their subscription for something they were promised.
Sky have shown they are a network that is profit orientated. Sign below and every petition will be delivered to Richard and John Fellet (CEO).
