We urge you to review the government "Speed Camera" policy, which is widely regarded by UK motorists as a revenue generating stealth tax.
There is no evidence to suggest that the widespread and inappropriate use of fixed and mobile cameras has any significant effect on road safety. In addition the current policy has the regrettable side effect of alienating the majority of ordinary law abiding citizens from the police.

Why should we be fined for speeding when the police don't. e.g the officer who was doing 159 mph and got away with it, plus the police force who recently decided not to prosecute officers who had been caught by speed scameras.
