"It is a misguided move. Look at England where closing the pubs early results in a large amount of violence as everyone is pushed into the street at the same time. With a 3am closing time it means that many people will have left the clubs before the closin"

"I believe if they change the times back people will look elsewhere for places to drink and more problems could be created. Also, part of the attraction for tourists to St. John's is George Street and this could impact our province greatly."
