Standing For The Right

As proud and honorable dues paying members of the illustrious Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., we the undersigned, are directing, in accordance with Zeta Phi Beta Sororitys official governing document, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Constitution and Bylaws 6th Edition, 2001, Article V, Administrative powers of the National Executive Board Section 2, Letter c, the National Executive Board of our beloved organization, to within 30 business days from receipt of this petition, deliver written charges, via registered mail, against both the International President, Barbara C. Moore, and Chair of the National Executive Board, Sheryl Underwood, to set in motion the process of their removal from office for misfeasance, malfeasance, and nonfeasance; for conduct tending to hold the sorority up to ridicule and contempt; and for bringing discredit upon the organization.

The actions and gross mismanagement by President Moore and Chair Underwood have led to criminal investigations being conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Internal Revenue Service, and the Office of the U.S. Attorneys General. These investigations could lead to widespread consequences, harming every affiliated Zeta Chapter, particularly those chapters that have non-profit organizations. The onslaught of negative press calls into question every partnership, every grant, and every action made by Zeta at the national, regional, state and local levels. The image of this great organization has been irreparably harmed, when all is said and done, the damage wrought by these two leaders could signal the death knell for our beloved 86-year-old institution.

Therefore, we the undersigned can no longer have confidence in the abilities of President Moore and Chair Underwood to lead, to manage and to protect the assets of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. They must be removed in accordance with the above reference constitution and bylaws.
