Steam .png and .gif Support

We the users of Valve's content delivery system, Steam, formally request the addition and support of the .png and .gif file formats in the Valve Source Engine "spray" dialog.
Because of their ability to handle transparency easier than the .tga format, adding support for one or both of these formats will allow Steams users to easily create their own custom sprays.
However, because the GIF file format is currently under legal review, it will be supported IF AND ONLY IF its compression algorithm is ruled to remain under the GPL.
