The energy and gas companies have raised natural gas prices through the roof, more than double the rate from last year for CCF used. The gas companies and media have indicated this is because of high demand, however, gas usage has been about the same from last year for many Residential users and there seems to be plenty of supply according to the gas companies own admission (ref. www.washingtongas.com, Winter Energy Insights) so this makes no sense for this unusally high rate increase. I believe there needs to be an investigation into this matter from the highest office and by signing this petition we as a people can hopefully highlight this very important issue to our State and Federal representatives into taking action.
