Stop inhumane killing of little corellas

Little Corellas are being shot and left suffering in agony only metres from the shooters feet while they shoot more before putting the injured birds out of their agony.
Little Corellas can be noisy and destructive (not nearly as much as people) so the Alexandrina council have decided to employ thugs with 12 gauge shot guns to shoot them in an attempt to teach the corellas that it is not safe to be in the town. I witnessed these thugs in a children's park near a playground and right next door to a childcare centre shooting the Australian native wildlife. Instead of putting the birds out of their agony, they left it flapping around on the ground.
This is not a humane way to deal with what some consider to be a problem. I have lived in Strathalbyn for over 12 years and don't consider them to be a problem, I'm quite happy for them to hang out in my gum trees.
I understand that some people don't like the corellas but this is NOT HUMANE.
If this disgusting procedure is to be carried out, it should be done humanely. The thugs should be supervised by a wildlife advocate and appropriate measures should be taken to ensure these brutal killers are following the code of practice for destruction of wildlife.
Please sign to let the Alexandrina council understand that this is not the way to deal with the problem.
