This is a petition from the undersigned to the media in America. A VERY small percentage of Americans care about this ridiculous story regarding Terri Schiavo. We are the majority of up to 75\% of the population of this country, and we are sick to death of hearing about this matter.
The issue between Michael Schiavo and the Shindler family is a private matter, and it is insane that you would cater to 25\% or less of the US population by dominating news headlines with this issue. You have done nothing for this case except to desensitize the American public from what has happened, encourage overwhelming numbers of frivolous petitions to the courts across our country, and we plead with you to stop running this story.
President Bush has listened to the polls, and has stopped responding. Take the information from within your own polls, and knock it off already.
