Por medio de esta peticiуn se busca lograr que los desarrolladores del proyecto K Desktop Environment (KDE) reconsideren el portarlo a las Sistemas Operativos Windows y MacOS X, al igual que las aplicaciones que esto conlleva.
La razуn es que portar las aplicaciones Qt, y KDE a Sistemas Propietarios sуlo disminuye el atractivo de las opciones libres (tales como GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, Unix, entro otros). Como un proyecto de cуdigo libre, se deberнa buscar el йxito de aquellos Sistemas Operativos que sigan dicho esquema.
Personalmente, creo que serнa mejor concentrar ese esfuerzo por portar las librerнas, en mejorar las acutales y su desempeсo en OS abiertos.

By this petition am trying to make the K desktop Environment (KDE) Developers change their mind about porting KDE and his applications to Windows and MacOS X Operative Systems.
The reason (at least mine) is that port the Qt applications, and KDE itself, will downgrade the attractive of the OpenSource Operative Systems (as GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, Unix, and some other). As an Open project it should look for the success of the OS's that have been developed with that idea on mind.
Personally, I think it would be a better idea focus all the energy in improve Qt for his actual plataforms, instead of focus it in porting them.
