Dear Evergreen Residents,

We have been experiencing horrible traffic situation everyday in our community, it becomes normal daily life that spending 20-30 minutes to get on to highway 101 in the morning and another half hour to go through the bottleneck of 280/101 merge and then long waiting line to exit highway in the evening. Even in the weekends, highway and local streets are always jammed. Our kids are studying in the overcrowd schools and some of our houses were forced to be out of closer/better schools. All these are because of overbuilding houses and overloading the community infrastructures. These problems severely impact our life quality in this beautiful community.

However, there is another housing development plan to rezone from rural to residential and build 40 houses in our community. We have to say enough is enough, we want our voice to be heard, and stop any land rezoning and new development before we see traffic situation gets improved, and our school overcrowd are resolved.

Please take a minute to sign the petition and vote for stopping this new rezoning/development proposal. I will collect them and present to the San Jose City Planning Department in the public hearing meeting scheduled on coming Thursday Oct 29 6:30pm 7:30pm in Cadwallader Elementary School (3799 Cadwallader Ave, San Jose, CA 95121). Speak out loudly no more new houses!"
