Sam Wright first came to the UK in June 2009. He applied for a Visa to reside in the UK on the grounds that him being here is a benefit to his Mother's health. His Mother, Rosaria Motyka is a legal resident of the United Kingdom and suffers from a condition called Fibromyalgia. This chronic illness causes her severe pain and debilitating fatigue, and is aggravated by stress. As Rosaria and her son are extremely close, it is likely that if her son is removed from the UK, her illness will worsen.
Despite this the UKBA has declined his application and has moved Sam into detainment until he is sent back the USA.
Sam has been in the UK for two years now, and has established a life here with many close friends and a long term girlfriend. Sam is cherished greatly by many people and will be sorely missed if he is removed from the UK.
This petition calls for the UKBA to halt the deportation of Sam Wright. Please sign to show your support.
