Lorne Park Secondary School (LPSS) is currently overcrowded, exceeding the ministry guidelines for capacity. It is forecasted to continue to be stressed in this way in the forseeable future.

Peel District School Board Trustee Don Stephens on January 13th, 2009, put forth a motion to change the boundary for LPSS to include the nearly 400 homes of the "Watercolours" subdivision.

We oppose the motion put forth by Peel District School Board Trustee Don Stephens on January 13th, 2009, to change the boundary for LPSS to include the "Watercolours" subdivision.
